REV. MARCIA CAMERON ALLEN BIOGRAPHY

Marcia is a daughter of St. Mary, Jamaica. She attended the Goshen Primary School and left the cool foothills of Lucky Hill, St. Mary to attend the Merl Grove High School, in Kingston. She worked for over 20 years with Jamaica Broilers Group Limited in various departments ranging from Data Processing to Managing the Retail Outlet and Cafeteria. She was very involved in Colleague Engagement activities and coordinated staff outreach programmes including adopting Children’s Homes, mentoring, counselling and fund raising.
Marcia has always focused on learning and development. Her quest for knowledge has led to certifications in Marketing, Business Management and Nursing. Marcia is a truly diverse individual, she is a respected cake baker and decorator, event planner and has even managed a football team.
In 1999 after her two children graduated from University, Marcia took the bold move and embarked on a new season of her life by migrating to the United States. She obtained her Bachelors in Theology in 2001 from the International Theological Seminary of California and was ordained a Minister of Religion in 2007. Marcia's life is faith-based and she believes that her life was created for the sole purpose of serving God. Her Ability to interact with a wide range of personalities and seek consensus for diverse agendas is renowned. She is able to counsel and motivate thereby developing powerful, innovative outcomes.
During her pastorate (2008 - present), Holy Ghost Prayer House Deliverance Ministries has grown in membership. She is instrumental in establishing ministries in this local assembly and believes that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. . Marcia is always reminded that Nehemiah declared “I am doing a good work and cannot come down.
